Progress Update... Ok, I know, I know! It's been too long since I posted an update.

It's not for the lack of a good reason though. In November, my wife and I had our first child, James. Here he is playing 'aeroplanes'. So I hope you'll agree that a delay in the release of FSNightingale2 is at least a little bit justified.

By the way, you can click on any thumbnail on this page to see a larger version of the photograph.

Nevertheless, I have been continuing to develop v2 since January, and have made some good progress. I have redesigned the underlying architecture and I have almost finished the 'FSNightingale Cockpit' application that will display and run your layouts. I still need to complete the 'FSNightingale Designer' application, that you will use to create your layouts, and need to create many more instruments for you to choose from, engines, navigation & radios etc..

FSNightingale Cessna6 - In Use...

I wanted to share with you all a few photos of 'FSNightingale - Cessna6' in use. First let me say, it is feedback like this that keeps me excited about the development of FSNightingale2. If it weren't for all you guys doing these great things then this project wouldn't nearly be so much fun. If anyone has any photos of how they are using 'Cessna6', then please post them to me and I will add them as a news item.

These pictures are from Calvin Fraites. Calvin displayed his cockpit at the 'Sun n Fun' show, FL, USA, in April 2008. Calvin is the CIO at Elite Simulations Solutions.

This photo is from Bram Stikkel. Bram has been using Cessna6 since it was first released. Here we can see Bram's excellent home cockpit. Keep up the good work Bram.

Please let me say thank you again to all you guys using Cessna6. Hopefully one day I will be able to sit along side you as P2 in your home cockpit running FSNightingale2!
